Welcome to White Feather Insight – a sacred space where I offer Tarot Readings, Journals, and more.

Based in the beautiful paradise of Waitara, Aotearoa, I run a small home and digital-based business grounded in spiritual connection and cultural integrity. I specialise in Tarot Reading and am currently studying to become a certified Spiritual Advisor through Biddy Tarot Ltd.

Deeply rooted in my Maaori heritage, my connection to taha wairua (spirituality) has shaped who I am today. Wairuatanga is not new to my whaanau (family); in fact, it is a treasured taonga tuku iho (generational gift) passed down through our lineage and the wider iwi Maaori.

From a young age, I always felt different. I saw the world through a unique lens, guided by values and visions beyond the ordinary. As a child, I often imagined myself in magical realms filled with fairies, mermaids, and wonder. I believed there was more to life than simply existing as a human—and I held onto that belief.

It wasn’t until my teenage years that I began to understand the depth of taha wairua. I experienced visions, emotions that weren’t my own, intuitive insights, and prophetic dreams. At first, I didn’t realise these were spiritual gifts. I struggled with the weight of experiences and trauma that few understood—but over time, these challenges only strengthened my spiritual path.

Eventually, I reached a point where I felt spiritually stagnant. My soul was out of alignment with the direction my life was taking. In a moment of surrender, I asked God and the anahera (angels) to guide me toward my true purpose. That prayer led to a powerful spiritual awakening—and to Tarot.

Tarot is often viewed as a colonised practice within Maaori circles, as we have our own sacred tools to connect with wairua. However, for me, those traditional tools brought trauma due to past experiences. So I asked my tupuna(ancestors) to show me a healing tool aligned with my purpose. Within months, Tarot found its way into my life—and I haven’t looked back. While I still experience dreams, energies, and intuitive insights, Tarot offers me clarity, solutions, and divine messages that help guide myself and others.

So, what does “White Feather Insight” mean?
As a proud Maaori wahine from Taranaki, my whaanau follow the teachings of the Raukura (white feather), which we wear on our heads during significant Maaori occasions. The Raukura is a sacred symbol of maungarongo (peace). It represents the guiding values passed down through our region:

“Kia whai kororia ki te Atua i runga rawa. Kia maungarongo ki runga i te whenua. Kia whakaaro pai ki ngā tāngata katoa.”
“Glory to God on high. Peace on Earth. Goodwill to all mankind.”

These are the values I uphold in my spiritual practice and in every Tarot reading I offer.

My mission is to support others on their spiritual journey—to help them align with their higher self, gain clarity, and find peace of mind. I believe there is always a better path forward—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and I’m here to help you find it.
